The Long Grove Business and Community Partners (LGBCP) is proud to welcome new additions to their array of charming shops, businesses promoting music, art, dance and services, along with exceptional full service restaurants and fast casual dining, all in historic downtown Long Grove in Chicago’s northern suburbs. New openings in Long Grove include Chatterbox of Long Grove, In Motion Dance and Broken Earth Winery.
Chatterbox of Long Grove (330 Old McHenry Road) is the most recent addition to Long Grove’s dining scene, which recently opened under the ownership of Steve Besbeas. Chatterbox’s menu, created by Executive Chef Chris Rybicki, mimics the casual and comfortable feel of the restaurant’s atmosphere with delicious small plates, flatbreads, weekly specials, and more. In Motion Dance (404 Robert Parker Coffin Road) owned by Jessica Wielondek, or Miss Jessica as her students know her, has opened their doors in Downtown Long Grove just in time for the Fall season. In Motion Dance offers students ages 2 ½ to 18 years old the opportunity to learn a variety of dance styles including: ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, poms and tap. Students perform at community events, nursing homes and annual recitals and also have the opportunity to audition for the prestigious STAR Dance Company. Broken Earth Winery, owned by The Forsythe Family (long-time residents of Long Grove), is located in the Mill Pond Shops of Downtown Long Grove. This exciting new winey, set to open its doors just in time for Apple Fest, Sept. 26, 27, 28, will offer wine tastings, wine club memberships, video gaming and full service dining featuring appetizers, burgers and small plate samplings, along with wine, beer, and other beverages. Private dining will be available. In addition, the Broken Earth Winery will sell their Award Winning Wines by the bottle or by the case, along with gift items and a full selection of wine accessories.
The family’s Paso Robles winery produces estate grown and harvested unique wines, from vines first planted in 1973, and bottled in their winery in Paso Robles, California. Long Grove, IL. becomes home to their first expansion of their winery outside of California.
Other recent changes in Long Grove include: Beans & Leaves Coffee and Tea Café and the Long Grove Café, both under new ownership; and the addition of State Farm Insurance, Ryan Messner Agency, as a new service provider for the community and surrounding neighborhoods.
